Holidays
School holidays are clearly the best thing. Started Holidays on the 5th, go back on 23rd. So far i have slept in past 12 quite a few times, missed seeing The Red Shore and drank loads of iced coffee. On Tuesday 9th, i went into Launceston with a bunch of friends to do a pole dancing lesson, which was purely for fitness. Our teacher reminded me of the pole dancers off Grand Theft Auto. We learnt how to do some stuff and me being unco as all hell, i wasn't the best at it.
After that we headed into the mall and did what all teenage girls do, shop! I got bored after about 20 minutes so me and a friend went a bought giant plastic crayons. We then got harassed by scene kids about them, so we went to Gloria Jean. That night a few of us went out for dinner. It was pretty funny.
Then i stayed at my friends house, we watched a couple of movies, i fell asleep at about 4. On friday, i went to Orford with my dad. We stayed friday night with his friends. I was bored, so i went to bed.
On saturday we went to Hobart, i met up with a friend, we chilled for a couple of hours. Sunday was a very boring day, it was windy and cold. Monday we left Hobart at 10 am, we didn't get home till 8:15 pm because we stopped off at alot of places, seeing people.
At 6:30 i had to go to a council meeting to represent FEWCHA(a youth council I'm in), i went with my best friend. It was very very boring. They discussed public toilets and selling a hall. I then went home. That is my holidays so far, pretty boring hey.
I've come up with a list of albums that i will never get sick of. Thank you Lewis for the idea.

Carpathian
On Friday night i went to see Carpathian. Break Even were meant to be supporting but apparently the guitarist broke both his elbows while stage diving. That saddened me alot because i would've loved to see them. Hopefully they will come back sometime soon.
My day started off going to school, it was pretty much the slowest day i have ever had. From 1:15 to 3:00 i had rugby training. It was our final training because we have our competition on Thursday. I'm going to get killed by large girls, i bet. At 2:30 my friend and i stopped training and went and got dressed and such, then went to catch the bus into Launceston. We had nothing to do for 3 hours, so we went shopping, as girls do. Then we went and chilled in the movie theatre when it got dark and cold until 7. We walked up to the Battman Fawkner and waited for the doors to open at 7:30.
On Your Feet Soldier played first, they weren't meant to be playing but because Break Even couldn't, they came up from Hobart to play this show aswel as the one the next day in Hobart. It was the first time i've seen them and i enjoyed it quite a bit. Next was Sunday, Something Ruined. I enjoyed them alot more than the last time i seen them back in April. This Future... Chaos were up next. I love seeing these guys live, Luke has a great voice. I had fun singing along to Consumed and Ghosts Of The Baltic Sea. I was also pretty excited when they played their newest song, Sea Legs. Also, my friend Axel's stage dive was pretty funny.
Finally the moment alot of people had been waiting for, Carpathian! A few kids got their mosh on and a few attempted mic grabs. I stood on the outside and sang along. They played all the songs i wanted them too and i had lots of fun. When the show was over, i said my goodbyes to all the lovely people i met, then went back to the car and ate BBQ chicken pizza while dad drove me and my friend home.
Also, i bought the High Five For Hitman demo. Local band, check them.

40 Hour Famine
40 hours without food. When you think about it, it wouldn't seen too hard but when you're used to eating breakfast every morning, it's hard! I started last night at 8pm and i get to start eating again at 12pm on sunday. My tummy is already grumbling. Haha. I'm currently reading through my famine book and found out that there are 1.1 billion people in India and more then 300 million live on less than US$1 per day. So i encourage people to donate and support the 40 hour famine. Last Sunday i went to see The Getaway Plan at the Batman Fawkner. The support bands Novella and The Dirty Love were boring and except for about 3 people at the front, no one seemed to like them. The Getaway Plan played really good and i'm glad they played a few old songs. On my way out of the batty, it was dark and i wasn't really taking much notice of stuff and i managed to fall down 5-6 stairs. Getting maccas and having Cancer Bats sing-a-longs on the way home was also good fun. Also, Carpathian in 6 days! If any people in Tassie read this, come to it! 15th August, Launceston: Carpathian, Break Even, This Future... Chaos and Sunday, Something Ruined. 16th August, Hobart: Carpathian, Break Even, This Future... Chaos and On Your Feet Solider.

Sup.
It's really cold, even for Tasmania. I want it to be warmer, so i don'thave to wear about 6 layers of clothes to school every day.
Anyway, it's about time i posted another blog, although i don't have much to write about.
At school i play in the girls rugby team, its full contact and its scary as fuck. We haven't played an actual game yet, just training, learning to play and learning the rules but luckily the other teams we will end up playing are at the same skill level as us, so hopefully i wont get hurt.
We have a male trainer and he is pretty much the most awkward person to be around, it's quite funny.
We play in a tournament thing on August the 21st, so if i don't post for awhile after that, i will probably be injured, haha.
On a lighter note, i would like to marry Stephen Christian, i thinkhe's handsome and i am highly anticipating the new Anberlin album! They're one of my favourite bands. I'm also looking forward to newDance Gavin Dance, yeahhh.
One last thing, I'm currently reading Rose Madder by Stephen King andi'm rather enjoying it. I don't usually read but i decided to give thisone a shot because i remember trying to read it when i was about 10because i thought i would be cool if i did. Next i will read IT andhopefully wont get nightmares like i did when i watched the movie, haha
