Hands Like Houses
Hailing from the nation's capital, Hands Like Houses are the most recent additon to the Rise Records family. Already creating buzz with their demos, the band are set to release their debut album Ground Dweller next month. In the lead up to the release we caught up with the band's vocalist Trenton Todd Woodley to discuss band's upcoming album and what it's like being part of the Rise family.
Heroes For Hire
If you needed any more proof that Heroes For Hire were the best Australia has to offer in the pop punk department, "Take One For The Team" is it. With studio album numero duo done, the band now have their sights set on the road. Kicking off a headlining tour alongside I Call Fives and I Am Villain, we caught up with HFH's singer Brad Smith to talk partying hard and spraying Short Stack with piss.
Heroes For Hire
Sydney's Heroes For Hire have been making a name for themselves since day one and are now considered to be one of the most recognisable acts in their genre. 2010 saw the release of debut album "Life Of The Party", which the band toured relentlessly with scoring huge support slots with Unwritten Law, The Wonder Years and the No Sleep Til festival. Now the evergrowing five piece are back yet again with their new full length "Take One For The Team" produced and recorded by heavyweight Paul Leavitt. I caught up with vocallist Brad to discuss the new album, the state of pop punk and Kesha.
Headaches
Featuring former and current members of The Gifthorse, Army Of Champions, Reach Out and Values Here, Brisbane's Headaches have been making a name for themselves across the country, smashing out their brand of melodic punk. With their debut EP being released a few months ago through Arrest Records, we caught up with the band's bass player Mackey to discuss the EP, the band's history and their plans for the future.

Melbourne's Hopeless are one of the finest proponents of melodic hardcore on the Australian scene at the moment. The band are busy writing their second full length, which follows the recent release of the Human 7". House Vs. Hurricane
Melbourne's House Vs. Hurricane are now well established as one of Australia's biggest hardcore/metal bands. They didn't get there without a lot of hardwork, establishing a recognisable and unique sound and supporting it with near constant touring. They now have 2008's Forfeiture EP and their 2010 debut album, Perspectives under their belt and are currently writing the follow-up. Homelife and Bike Tuff have just teamed up to release a split 7" through Either/Or Records, and to change things up, the two bands have taken the time to ask each other a bunch of questions for us to read.
Hostage Calm
Hostage Calm released their fantastic self-titled album earlier this year through Run For Cover Records, and have been receiving heavy praise from fans and critics ever since.
