Brisbane's alternative rock underdogs Young Lions have released their second single, 'Tearing Us Apart' from their upcoming sophomore LP, 'Blue Isla'. The album, produced, mixed and mastered by Sonny Truelove, is available on the 27th of January.

The video was directed and filmed by Neil Waters and follows lead singer Zachary Britt through the streets of Melbourne including shots at Federation Square.

As the band mentioned in the comments, most of the people featured were simple strangers who are now apart of the Young Lions' legacy; whether they liked it or not.

Young Lions attached this statement on their Facebook post with the video:

"If you see where the world is heading and think it's Tearing us Apart, this is for you.

Every now and then you write a song and hold nothing back - this is one of those. We hope it means as much to you as it does to us.

Brand new album 'Blue Isla' out January 27th.

'Tearing Us Apart' follows much in line with the theme of the band's lead single 'When Will We Be Free?' in its message of breaking the mold and constraints of modern day life and challenging the values and thoughts of society.
