Atreyu offer album update

Orange County outfit Atreyu have provided an update regarding their new studio album.

The band is currently working on their sixth full-length and follow-up to 2009's 'Congregation of the Damned'.

Frontman Alex Varkatzas offered a recording summary, with the musician observing he provides no "melodic vocals".

"The lyrics for the new album have been done for a few days. I will finish vocals tomorrow. Absolutely no melodic vocals on my end. AMEN! Happy to get back to my roots and still bring in some new tricks. My brothers and I have made our best record yet.
