In Hearts Wake are going to drop 'Skydancer' this Friday, and in the build-up to its release, the band have released a new song called 'Erase'.

'Skydancer' drops this Friday via Unified, and you can listen to 'Erase', which features Ben Marvin and Jermaine Hurley of UK nu-metal mob Hacktivist, below. As for guest appearances, Jonathan Vigil of The Ghost Inside features on the title track, and the new Northlane singer, Marcus Bridge, appears on 'Intrepid'.

The band have also written about the meaning behind the song on social media to coincide with its release.

"We can't believe that racism still exists in the twenty first century. We're all human beings living on the same planet – the only home we've ever known – but the atrocities our species have committed towards each other is beyond horrific. We all eat, sleep, and have two eyes, two arms, two legs and a nose. Although unique, we really aren't all that different from each other. You'd think society would have figured it out by now that the real issue isn't the difference between our neighbour, but our inability to work together towards a common goal: sustaining here on planet Earth."
