Aiden's Will Francis has announced that the band's forthcoming and supposed final album will be released for free, as a final thank you to the fans.

Out of genuine love and generosity, Aiden's new album will be digitally distributed for free, says Francis, the only original member of the group.

"I'm in the process of writing this last Aiden record and I want to make it available for a free download. Help me in this endeavor, this record will be for you."

When the fans responded about why the album was being released without a price tag, the front man had this to say over social media:

"Why am I making the last Aiden record for free? Well I sold close to 500k on victory records and never got paid. Why start now? Fuck it."

In the below video, the singer reveals these intentions for the new record, but of course, it costs money to record, mix and master an album. However, instead of starting a Kickstarter or an IndieGoGo page to build up the required funds, Francis will be auctioning off a lot of his old Aiden memorabilia (artwork, videos, photos, clothes, limited editions prints etc.) from throughout the years. Just so fans don't have to pay for the album; what a guy.

No news on what the album will be titled, but we know that it's been worked on as we write, and it's revealed at the end of the video that a release is set for sometime around Halloween.

More info as it comes in folks.
