Talking with Spark TV the musician observed the new project and said, while it's a "new approach", it will still be "dark."

“I got this other band going now, and I wanna wrap up the record in March and maybe have it out in September this year. But it’s not metal. It’s blues, country and folk...And I’m singing," Nergal told Spark TV, as transcribed by theprp.com.

Behemoth released their acclaimed studio album, 'The Satanist', in 2014.
