Dance Gavin Dance release new version of 'Lemon Meringue Tie'

Dance Gavin Dance have released an updated version of 'Lemon Meringue Tie' but have replaced the vocals of the controversial Jonny Craig with their current singer, Tilian Pearson.

Originally taken from their somewhat average 2007 debut album, 'Downtown Battle Mountain', this new version comes from their upcoming second live album, 'Tree City Sessions'. This new live release features 12 tracks performed and recorded live at the California-based studio, the Pus Cavern. 'Tree City Sessions' comes out late next month through Rise Records.

One of the other tracks recorded for this release was a new version of 'Alex English', which was taken from their slightly better eponymous record.

Check out the new version of 'Lemon Meringue Tie' as well as the original, below. This is definitely an improvement, we think.
