It’s happening! Queens Of The Stone Age fans, put down your cereal (or whatever else you're holding), because Josh Homme has confirmed they are locked in to record their next album.

The revelation comes from earlier talks on the Let There Be Talk podcast, with frontman Josh HommeWhen asked if a QOTSA return was next on his list a sure fired “Yeah” was given. “Same lineup, we’re locked in. We’re having a meeting tomorrow about what we’re gonna do.”

Homme has not been an inactive man since the break from QOTSA was announce in early 2015. Eagles of Death Metal saw Hommes and Jess Hughes reunite to create their 2015 album 'Zipper Down'. As well a collaboration to produce, co-write and play with Iggy Pop was also gave birth to Pop’s 2016 LP, 'Post Pop Depression'.

'Like Clockwork' was a HUGE album for Queens, which landed them their first number #1 album ever. This creates some massive shoes to now fill, and the fans will have the highest of expectations. It remains to be seen whether this will be either the greatest thing they’ve created thus far... or if thousands of fans go into a depression in an allergic reaction to this new album.
