Canberra's Hands Like Houses are back to perform four headline shows this coming February to back their most recent single, ‘Colourblind’.

Now, this may seem kinda strange that almost a year after their new album, 'Dissonants' dropped, that only then they will be doing headline shows for it, as there aren't any other Australian dates scheduled as of yet for the band. Anyway, these shows will make stopovers in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide (sorry Perth). That tour will follow what is a huge year for the boys, with a world tour, appearance at UNIFY 2016 and the recent Northlane & In Hearts Wake Equinox tour, the band is grabbing the proverbial bulls by the proverbial horns.

“It’s only June but it’s already been one of the biggest years of our career, especially here at home in Australia,” says vocalist, Trenton Woodley. “So, in the spirit of hometown pride and excitement, we will kick off an even bigger 2017 with our biggest Australian headline run yet. I know I’ve said biggest three times but as the saying goes, ‘go big or go home’… but why not do both?”

Exactly, why not?!

In other HLH news, the band featured on Triple J’s Like A Version recently, performing the classic No Doubt track, 'Don’t Speak', and then finished up with an intimate, stripped-down version of their song 'New Romantics'. The wheels on the bus are in motion for these guys.

Even though 'Don’t Speak' was a smash hit back in 1996 (setting a record for consecutive weeks spent at number 1 for US Hot 100 airplay back then), Hands Like House decided it was only fitting that they add their own flavour to the track. Check it out below.

Tickets for the 2017 tour go on sale on June 30th at 9am.
