Look, we could go on and on about the new Guns N' Roses tour, but we'd rather go against the grain & show you some sweet local talent instead.

Brisbane alternative rock trio, The Iron Eye, have only just started out their musical journey (no, I swear that pun was unintended) and I recommend that you get in on the ground level.

This new local outfit will release their debut EP, 'Foreign Bodies' - which is also the name of my upcoming porno - sometime this Spring. So not far off now, peeps! If the fittingly titled first single, 'Just Started', is anything to go by, then this EP should be pretty damn solid. With producer Tom Larkin (of Shihad) and old mate Samuel K (The Getaway Plan, Storm The Sky) handling the mixing duties, I would say that The Iron Eye's debut is in safe, capable hands.

Have a look or two at their rockin' debut single below and take note that the band will be playing their single launch show at Brisbane's Crowbar on Friday, September 2nd in support of King Of The North (oh god, please don't be a GoT reference).

'Just Started' will also be available online from Friday, September 2nd.
