A new House Vs Hurricane song in 2017? Yes, please!

Back in July of 2012, Melbourne's House Vs Hurricane released their second full-length album, 'Crooked Teeth' via UNFD. It was a damn solid record, the first to feature explosive new vocalist Dan Casey and it featured some of the band's most volatile, energetic songs to date, like '40 Deep', 'Get Wrecked', 'Head Cold', 'Dead Lizard', and of course, 'Lost World'. Yet despite the local hype train going in full motion for the group, it was only a year later the announcement came that the post-hardcore/metalcore quintet would be breaking up, with their last show going down on December 1st in Melbourne.

And many fans and punters thought that that would be the last anyone would see of old House Vs Hurricane.

But good things tend to die hard, and come this Friday, January 13th, at around 7:40 pm, the band will taking to the stage once again when they appear at Unify 2017. So with the Victorian festival mere days away now, House Vs Hurricane have just dropped a brand new song by the name of 'Give It Up' (found below), which sonically picks up right where the band left off in 2013. You can expect the band to perform during their set, along with a few other classic HVH tunes.

While it is still unclear if the band will release new music in 2017 or even if they - dare I dream - solidify a new lineup and play more shows, I think that fans should be counting their lucky fucking stars that they even got this new ripper.
