Fearless Records expand their half-awesome, half-awful roster to include our very own Eat Your Heart Out. Yes, that's a good thing, people!

When I cast my eyes over the current Fearless Records lineup, I see the really good acts (August Burns Red, At The Drive-In, Ice Nine Kills), the average ones (Pierce The Veil, AlesanaChunk! No, Captain Chunk) and then the truly shite bands (I Prevail, The Summer Set and Plain White T's.)

It's a somewhat inconsistent lineup overall but the Fearless Records roster just got a whole better! Now being added to column A (AKA the good stuff) of the "Fearless Family" is Newcastle alternative/pop-punk outfit, Eat Your Heart Out - making them the only current Australian band on the label's roster.

Of course, the NSW band were very excited about this news, sharing the announcement and their enthusiasm over Facebook by saying:

"We are absolutely over the moon to announce we have signed to Fearless Records and are now apart of the Fearless Family. To have the opportunity to be on the same record label as so many of the bands that inspire us and to work with people so honestly passionate about music feels like a dream come true. We are excited for everyone to hear 'Carried Away' and to come with us on this journey as we see what happens next! Thank you to everyone who has ever believed in us, we wouldn't be here without you!"

The quintet's short but very sweet and very solid three-track EP, 'Carried Away' has now been re-released under the Fearless Records banner on iTunes and Spotify; once only found on the group's Bandcamp page. The YouTube videos for that recent EP's songs have also been reuploaded under the label's own account which is basically business as usual for singing instances such as these. 'Carried Away' will also be up on Apple Music by 9pm tonight.

With their new label home secured, now would be a great time to get educated on this band if you're shamefully unfamiliar with them. And I think there is no better introduction to Eat Your Heart Out's music than what I'd pick out as their best track, 'Patience'.

Good god, do I love this song!

Also, I didn't include Volumes at the start of this post because they went from being fucking sick to being utter trash, despite the superb Myke Terry joining the band. I don't mind The Word Alive, though. Those guys are solid.
