Sitting between the metalcore-ballad of 'Feels Good' and the hyped up, hot trash that was their most recent single, 'On Her Mind', Volumes now have another new single out - the short and heavy 'Left For Dead'.

'Left For Dead' reaches only just past the two-minute mark, keeping things short and to the point, and from what we've so far seen and heard from their upcoming record, 'Different Animals', Volumes are covering all bases of their sound it seems; the light, the heavy and everything in-between.

Now, many of you already know what I thought about the laughably cringy 'On Her Mind' - the only good thing being the choruses that were led by co-vocalist Myke Terry - from this article back in February. But this new track sees Volumes getting the closest to their 'Via' sound, or at least, the closest that we're most likely to ever get at this point in their career, and even then that's a bit of a stretch.

Although, a massive plus here is that we finally get to hear Terry scream alongside fellow vocalist Gus Farias and it's pretty fucking sick. Hopefully, the metalcore group's upcoming third record is more like track and much less of its previous single.

'Left For Dead' premiered recently over at Loudwire, and you can stream/watch it below.

If you have the money and are vibing these pre-release singles, then you can pre-order 'Different Animals' here.

Also, how bloody good was the first Left 4 Dead game, though?
