Over-Reactor Usher In 'Judgment Day', Announce August Tour Dates

It's the end of the world as we know it.

Today, Over-Reactor's latest synth-riff single, 'Judgment Day', touches down under the spinning disco ball ahead of their new album 'Cocaine Headdress' dropping on July 7th through Birds Robe Records.

To celebrate this new tracks debut, the duo of Ezekiel Ox (Mammal, Superheist, The Nerve, Full Scale) and drummer/sample programmer/engineer Cory Blight (Dukes of Windsor) will be touring through New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia throughout August.

This forthcoming 12-track release has reportedly been in the works for almost five years now and is set to be a journey through a multitude of sounds, including: hip-hop, rock, grime, house and electronica. Produced by Over-Reactor themselves and engineered, mixed and mastered in house by Blight, the Ying to Ox's Yang said of creating this record together that, "Nothing we've ever done has taken this long, nor should it ever again. We took the entire process, studio and sound apart, then put it back together again several times to come to this musical conclusion. We trust that you will find it as satisfyingly disorientating as we do."

Pre-orders for 'Cocaine Headdress' are live now via the duo's Bandcamp and those who pre-order will get two download options - one less compressed than the other (cause why not?). On top of that, five bonus B-sides tracks that will only ever be available through the pre-order method as well as a hard copy Zine on recycled paper with a download of the album included.
