The Download Festival Melbourne Lineup Has Arrived!

It’s finally here, folks.

It is always a tough hand putting on a balanced festival lineup that will cater to most punters; one that’s got the smaller to mid-tier local talents but also those bigger international acts that will really help draw in the crowds, from both old and younger fans. And that’s what organizers have done here for Download Festival’s 2018 Australian debut.

So, cutting right to the chase, check out the full list of bands playing Download Festival Melbourne below:

Korn (Only Australian Show)
Prophets Of Rage
Limp Bizkit
Mastodon
Good Charlotte
NOFX
Suicidal Tendencies
Gojira
Amon Amarth
Arch Enemy
Falling In Reverse
Neck Deep
Sabaton
Hot Water Music
Of Mice & Men
The Story So Far
Northlane
Trophy Eyes
Nails
Issues
Bad Cop/Bad Cop
Ocean Grove
Psycroptic
King Parrot
Clowns
Chase Atlantic
Cursed Earth
Alpha Wolf

This all goes down on Saturday, March 24th at Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne. Tickets – $169.90 for general admission, which is a steal all things considered – will go live at 9am AEDT Thursday, November 16th for the 18+ event.

Personally, I am very stoked to see Nails, Hot Water Music, NOFXIssues and Korn on the bill (even if the latter were always a given). All in all, it’s a decent lineup I think! What do you think of the lineup? Did it live up to the hype in your eyes?

I think it’s good but not great. Some decent surprises on there like Nails and Hot Water Music but tough to justify $170+. All great local additions playing. Flyer also says 29 bands but there’s only 28 listed here… I think it’s missing and in need of a bigger headline like Judas Priest or something.
