Prominent Atlanta metallers Norma Jean are continuing work on studio album six and follow-up to 2010's 'Meridional'.
The band have offered brief updates during the week regarding the status of the new material.
Frontman Cory Brandan wrote the following on his Twitter page recently:
"Last day of this writing block is today. We hit it off from the beginning. This record is really shaping up. Can't wait till we meet again."
Similarly, Norma Jean via the group's official Twitter account observed the following in perhaps a tongue-in-cheek manner.
"Three new songs in the bank after this week. Temp titles are Clover Squirrel, Family Bike Wreck and steninpoopships. #newrecord"
