The Acacia Strain vocalist announces new band

The Acacia Strain frontman Vincent Bennett has announced his new project, Shut In. The band also features Griffin Landa (ex-Too Pure To Die) and Chris Cain (ex-Bury Your Dead).

Their debut release, a 7" titled 'Old Homes,' will be available on August 21st via Landa's new label, Dreadwind Records.

song goes alright imo. TAS are one of the few deathcore bands I like but I much prefer this 1 minute snippet to anything they've previously released. reminds me of his older band cockpunch or something

not bad - hanging for the new TAS album though. Oh, and they're not a 'deathcore' band either - pretty sure Vincent would unleash a tirade of abuse for that call

haha i hate playing the subgenre game but Vince already unleashed his tirade of abuse for killing babies on the band's most recent trip here.
