The Amity Affliction unlocking new music video

Popular Australian hardcore lads The Amity Affliction want fans to help unlock their new music video.

The band took to their Twitter page recently to outline the news.

“Want to see our new video for 'Chasing Ghosts'? Tweet ‪#ChasingGhosts to help unlock. Go!!” The Amity Affliction writes.

The Amity Affliction will embark on their biggest national tour yet in September.

The highly anticipated ‘Chasing Ghosts’ is due in stores on September 14.

Not attacking the band, but the concept of 'marketing' kinda puts me off... Bands should let their music speak for itself instead of twitter/fb/etc campaigns

@auzziewizard (3): Really? How do you think bands get people to shows? Marketing. Social media is all about marketing for bands. You can't just play music you think is good and sit back and wait for someone to sign you up to a big label and put you on tours. People will bomb the fuck out of them to unlock the video and they'll be all over twitter, getting more and more people to hear them.
