The Rolling Stones post new single

The Rolling Stones have posted a new single online, `Doom And Gloom’, taken from their upcoming 50th anniversary greatest hits album, GRRR!

`Doom And Gloom’ is the first taste of new material from the Stones and comes after Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood hit the studio for the first time in seven years. Recorded in Paris and produced by longtime producer Don Was (Voodoo Lounge/ Stripped/ Bridges To Babylon/ Live Licks/ A Bigger Bang), the song is one of two new tracks that will feature on the 50-track greatest hits compilation, due for release November 12.

GRRR! is available for pre-order on iTunes now. Those who pre-order the album will receive an instant download of single ‘Doom And Gloom’.

In other Rolling Stones news, guitarist Keith Richards has commented on the band’s upcoming tour plans.

We’ve got some shows in London, I believe, and in New York, but I really can’t talk about any of that at the moment. They’ve put the gag on me on this. You can hint!

Fingers crossed Australia gets a look in if they decide on doing another world tour. In the meantime, stream `Doom And Gloom’ below.
