British psychedelic outfit Django Django will play headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne while in the country for the Falls, Southbound and Field Day festivals over the New Year period.
Django Django made their first Australian appearance earlier in the year at the Splendour In The Grass festival.
If you haven’t already checked out their debut self-titled album, you really should. It’s interesting stuff. Pretty trippy. As NME points out, “It’s a dream of the psychedelic tropics, a heady explosion of colours, an album that takes what it means to be ‘in an indie band’ and gives it a good shake”.
Django Django sideshows:
Thursday, January 10 – The Zoo, Brisbane
Friday, January 11 – The Metro, Sydney
Saturday, January 12 – The Hi-Fi, Melbourne
Tickets are on sale at 9am Thursday, October 25
