Scale the Summit working on new album

US instrumental prog band Scale the Summit are preparing a new album according to guitarist Chris Letchford.

The pending release will mark the group’s first full-length since 2011’s brilliant ‘The Collective.’

Letchford offered the following update recently:

“We just started work on our next album. The material we have written so far is definitely pushing us into new territory. Very excited to see what we create! It’s been a lot of fun writing these songs with our new bassist, Mark Michell.

“He is a very skilled and talented guy, so these songs will definitely be our best yet! Looking forward to getting them all finished and recorded so we can get out there and play them live. Keep an eye out for videos and studio updates through our YouTube channel (youtube.com/scalethesummit).”
