US experimental hip-hop trio Death Grips garnered widespread controversy last month by leaking their second studio album 'No Love Deep Web' online through Soundcloud and various filesharing sites. The leak occurred after their label Epic Records delayed the album's release until 2013.
Responding to allegations that the leak was a publicity stunt, Death Grips have published email correspondence between their manager Peter Katsis and Heath Kudler, Epic’s senior vice president of business and legal affairs.
The photos were accompanied with the captions "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOW FUCK OFF." and "treat bitch".
