You Am I front man Tim Rogers has been a busy man of late and recently broadened his creative horizons with a run of dates starring in the Georg Büchner play Woyzeck. Turns out this little stint in theatre has flicked Timmys switch, inspiring him to start work on a few plays of his own.
The original rock jock recently stopped by JJJ studios and had a chat with presenter Zan Rowe…"I’ve been off in Albury writing theatre there with the Write On Theatre Company, and there’s some movie stuff next year, and then You Am I are recording an album very soon. So essentially I feel like the prettiest girl at the ball."
Rogers is about to hit the road on the White Album Tour with buddies Josh Pyke, Chris Cheney and Phil Jamieson to play the entire Beatles’ White Album. The guys will play shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth throughout August.
