Push Over Festival success
Push Over event organisers have thanked fans after this year's festival attracted over 2800 music goers.
Push’s Artistic Director Shane Wickens recently applauded those responsible for the event. “We would like to thank the 40 local and Aussie bands that played across our four stages at Push Over this year.
“We couldn’t have done it without the tireless work of our 100 plus staff, Youth Advisory Committee and volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly,” he said.
The winners of the various Push Over competitions were also announced on the day. Geelong’s ‘The Houses’ won the 2010 FReeZA Push Start Grand Final while concurrently Shepparton’s ‘8 Bit Love’ were awarded the FReeZA Push Start APRA Songwriting Award. Ilyak won the MC Battle in the Push It! hip hop area.
The Push event sponsored by Killyourstereo was the 18th annual all ages event for the state-wide Victorian non-profit youth music organization.
