Sunny Day Real Estate to record new album

Recent Australian tourists Sunny Day Real Estate have announced that they will be entering the studio in May to record a new album.

The new album will be the band's first new studio album since 2000's The Rising Tide.

No word yet on a release date, or what label will be releasing the album.
