Misfits cancel Australian tour

US horror punk legends Misfits have regrettedly cancelled their Australian tour, which was slated for February. The promoters New Noise Agency have issued a statement, claiming that “Due to timing and our current situation, we are unable to run this tour. We sincerely apologise to those who have bought tickets, and all the fans of Misfits for this news.”

“Please watch the Misfits website for updates on future tours. Refunds for pre-sales are available from point of purchase. Misfits will be releasing a new album in 2011 and look for them to return to Australia and New Zealand at that with a new promoter at that time.”
