The winners of this years APRA awards were announced earlier this week in Melbourne. The Living End took out song of the year while The Presets claimed the best songwriters prize.

The Potbellez- Don’t Hold Back Another first-time award went to jazz pianist Joe Chindamo for his composition Something Will Come To Light. Blues and Roots Work of the Year: Old Man River- Sunshine Most Played Foreign Work: Matchbox 20- All Your Reasons.

The Most Played Australian Work: Faker- This Heart Attack. Most Played Australian Work Overseas: AC/DC- Highway to Hell.
