"It’s an uplifting song about finding happiness."

More Breakaway More Breakaway

Sydney pop-rockers Breakaway have returned with their first new song in two years, the aptly titled Restart taking the band on an east coast tour this October.

With their debut album forthcoming, lead singer Sam Biland says Restart is about "moving on and finding something or someone that gives you a reason to pick yourself up and restart your life. It’s an uplifting song about finding happiness".

Having supported American punk heavyweights like Anberlin, The Used and Taking Back Sunday, Breakaway's headline tour will kickstart on 24 September in Sydney before moving on to two shows each in Brisbane and Melbourne and one in Adelaide on 16 October.
