Melbourne Music Week's impressive line-up just got even bigger!

The much-loved Melbourne event - which is running as an extended series over summer - has now added a further nine events to its line-up.

Skegss, Ruby Fields, King Stringray and The Vovos will join the Live At The Bowl season at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday 20 February, while Cash Savage and The Last Drinks, The Meanies, Sui Zhen and more have all been locked in for the Happy Mondays - A Live Music Residency series.

Constant Mongrel, Primo!, EXEK, Alien Nosejob, Floodlights, Monolith Live, Craig McWhinney, Matt Radovich and more have all been added to the line-up across various events.

"We’ve been working closely with some of Melbourne’s iconic venues to safely welcome music fans back into the city because the sector is critical to bringing the buzz back to our city," said City Of Melbourne lord mayor Sally Capp.

“Melburnians have missed live music and have really got behind this extended event to support our incredible local talent, venues and promotors. We’re pleased that these shows have been popular with some sell-out crowds and limited tickets remaining for the rest.

“Melbourne is the live music capital of the world. Our live music sector normally contributes $1.7 billion a year to Victoria’s economy and creates 42,000 jobs. As one of the hardest hit sectors as a result of the pandemic, it has been critical for us to bring live music back to the city and support this industry.”
