Dear reader,

Please read my review of Driven To The Verge’s Transitions‘ here, listen to that record, and then think of a less satisfying, far more underwhelming release that’s even more generic and uninteresting. That is ‘Never Alone‘, the new album from Brisbane’s Kings‘, in a nutshell. Ergo, I’d largely be repeating myself from that Driven To The Verge review here, and I just do not have the time nor effort to repeat myself right now. I also absolutely refuse to put more effort into a review than whatever little “effort” Kings put into this woefully generic album of theirs, so this small “review” seems completely fitting.

With all that said, thank you, and have a good day.

Sincerely yours,
Alex Sievers.

Conclusion

Well, Kings, you’ve made me lazy enough to not even give a fuck about doing a full review. Not even Ocean Sleeper’s accursed EP did that!

Tracklisting

Fuck this album’s track listing.

‘Never Alone’ is out May 19th. Here’s a song from it. Also, at least DTTV’s ‘Transitions’ was tolerable, had a cleaner, tighter mix, and was written by better-skilled musicians.

I read the whole review Alex!

….against my better judgment (or maybe it was force fed curiosity) I listened to the abomination of a track above…

Wow, Kings…give up. this is terrible awful shit.

      Hahaha, good job!

And yep, pretty much. That song is more or less a microcosm of sorts for the rest of this shite record.

I have been waiting for this review as you’ve referenced it a few times and this review did not disappoint!
