"Catchy melodies that will not only appeal to the punk rock community, but anyone who enjoys raucous rock'n'roll."

More Bare Bones More Bare Bones

Usually one has to be pretty wary of claims made for new LPs.

But the comparisons to The Bronx and Every Time I Die made in the missive accompanying Bare Bone's debut LP are pretty spot on. Here the Sydney outfit build on a grab bag of EPs with 12 tracks of energetic riffs, off-kilter rhythms and catchy melodies that will not only appeal to the punk rock community, but anyone who enjoys raucous rock'n'roll. But it's not just the riffs that propel Bad Habits, with vocalist Tom Kennedy's breathless outpouring giving tracks like Thick As Thieves an added urgency.
