More State Champs More State Champs

State Champs deliver 11 tracks of samey pop-rock with their new album.

It seems pop rock struggles to be as universal as other genres. Generally you're either going to like it or you're not. For those of you who are sick of hearing the literally interchangeable structure, vocal style and content that has been appearing in this genre since the early 2000s, just stop reading now. The production is pretty tight, and the parts are played well, but damn is it uninteresting. Not to mention it continually presents a passive-aggressive, angst-ridden mentality as being desirable to its listeners.
