"A nice change, but will it be welcomed by fans?"

More Storm The Sky More Storm The Sky

Say goodbye to the post-hardcore Storm The Sky fans are used to and say hello to a scream-less death-pop album.

With the departure of screamer Daniel "Breenie" Breen earlier this year, the band explores the darker sides of life with brutally honest lyrics about drugs, love, friendship and cheating. Burning and Jaded Ghost are the deeper rock tracks, while single Lilac spirals from soft guitar to an intense sound that's consumed by the lyrics. In Vein is a beautiful acoustic guitar track showcasing frontman Williams Jarratt's vocals and pain. It's different and a nice change, but will it be welcomed by fans?
