More Wage War More Wage War

Five-piece metalcore misfits Wage War smother their sunny Florida roots in darkness with their crushing debut.

Clearly the boys are perfectionists making fans wait five years since their inception for something solid. Luckily Blueprints has everything they need to make their mark in a saturated genre, thanks to a deft hand in the studio on a monster sound. Opener Hollow builds clean chugs and Briton Bond's crushing vocals on an ambient line, Alive's sludgey riff and guitar shreds are glorious, Youngblood's dual vocals and bipolar pace are killer, and Deadlocked's massive breakdowns make this one heck of a powerful introduction.
