"Whether you are a fan of grindcore, hardcore, powerviolence or even good old punk rock you'll find something here to enjoy."

More Weekend Nachos More Weekend Nachos

Apart from having the best moniker this side of Pig Destroyer, Weekend Nachos' powerviolence meets grindcore pile-up is the perfect antidote to the latter genre's often sterile vibe.

For one, the Illinois natives aren't scared of bass guitar and accordingly Apology (supposedly the band's retirement album) boasts a wicked bottom end and heavy groove. Sludgy offerings such as 2015 provide the perfect counterpoint to jock power violence anthems like Fake Political Song. Whether you are a fan of grindcore, hardcore, powerviolence or even good old punk rock you'll find something here to enjoy on Weekend Nachos' sonic goodbye to the world.
