Norma Jean - The Anti Mother
All of that is enough to sell me an album without needing to hear anymore but if you’re not convinced, this release propels Norma Jean right into the upper echelon of Post-hardcore/Metal-core acts going around at the moment. In parts up-beat and really rocking with terrific breakdowns, in others sweetly, sometimes hauntingly melodic. This album has something for everyone.

No Use For A Name - The Feel Good Record Of The Year
The Feel Good Record Of The
Year is a fantastic album, however it would be far better if the
trio of ballads were omitted. Apart from that, No Use For A Name
has once again shown why they are still at the forefront of the modern
punk scene.

New Found Glory - Tip Of The Iceberg EP/International Superheroes Of Hardcore
It’s New Found Glory. There are eighteen songs, there are pogo mosh parts and the artwork
is awesome. If you’re still not sold then you’re never going to get it. Whatever… I love it.

New Found Glory - Hits
I would’ve given this release
a perfect score if it had contained “The Story So Far” and a couple
of earlier songs, but hey, I already own those CD’s so it’s no big
deal. Please come back to Australia New Found
Glory!

Newtonheath - Come Together And Unite
I have no doubt that the guys (and girl) from Newtonheath have potential as Come Together And Unite features some fantastic songs, however the album as a whole is brought down by the inconsistency of the weaker tunes. Maybe an EP would have been a better move for their debut release? That aside, I look forward to seeing what this band can come up with next. Oh, in case anyone in the band reads this, tell your front man to ditch the eye liner.
