The Used - Artwork
A lot's changed in the last seven years, and if you were once a Used fan, hearing this album probably won't make you a fan again – sorry, but that’s the truth. However, if you are a fan, you're going to like what you hear, no doubt about that. I can’t promise that you’ll love it on first listen, but its worth a second spin.

Town Hall Steps - Town Hall Steps
I can definitely see where this band was trying to aim with this release – though they missed the mark a little. Although, it’s a little too commercial for my taste – I can say that there’s something there, and that these guys have some talent. Maybe with a little more work, their next release will be phenomenal.

The Black Crowes - Before the Frost
If you’re a blues fan, this album will definitely deliver. The Black Crowes are a terrific band, and always manage to put on great live performances and record fantastic songs as well. Perfect Sunday night record, and is just as capable to make you dance, as it is at telling a great story.

The Antlers - Hospice
Concept albums are normally difficult to comprehend, but ‘Hospice’ really succeeds in telling a story and taking the audience along with it for the ride.

Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen - The Soundtrack
Compilations are usually either hit or miss. Most of the time you get a couple standout tracks and the rest are obscure songs that you can hardly even remember where they fit in the movie anyway. But this one's got a handful of gems, varying from the angsty victorious power tracks, to the more mellow. Play it loud while re-enacting your finest battle scene - just hope the neighbours aren't watching!

The Black Dahlia Murder - Deflorate
Heavier than an elephant’s scrotum, Black Dahlia have proven once again why they will remain at the top of the pile for heavy music.

Threat Signal - Vigilance
Canada’s Threat Signal show promise and potential on studio album number two. A solid foundation has been set; it is just a matter if we see the band continue with it in future endeavours or rather resign themselves to become yet another ‘genre filler’ band.

The Boxer Rebellion - Union
A punchy, yet beautiful album which provides thoroughly enjoyable twists and turns from the beginning right through to the end.
