Mystery Jets - Serotonin
The best thing about ‘Serotonin’ is that it is pop music perfected, by using stand out melodies supported by well balanced music which makes for a very enjoyable listen all the way through.

Die Die Die - Form
The album is short but packs enough of a punch to swing with the big boys, the only problem Die Die Die have is finding a suitable opponent, as at the moment, nobody sounds anything like this.

Enslaved - Axioma Ethica Odini
No grandiose assertions are needed. ‘Axioma Ethica Odini’ speaks for itself. Enslaved’s eleventh studio album might just be at the top of the band’s lengthy musical pile. Undoubtedly, one of metal’s brightest points of 2010. Anyone looking for a solid heavy release need look no further, because as the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding.

The Jezabels - Dark Storm
The Jezabels own their unique style of indie pop and will be a name that will no doubt be heard plenty of when it comes time for a debut album.

Abigail Williams - In the Absence of Light
Fans may be slightly restless with the constant alterations to the Abigail Williams musical blueprint. This is understandable. ‘In the Absence of Light’ is again distant to its predecessor. If this is the band’s decided style then let us hope they stick with it long enough to see it evolve and inevitably improve for both the fans and members of the band’s sake alike.

Crow - Arcane
Crow have gone back to the classic pub rock type of song writing, which when combined with a simple and honest recording style, makes a record that will remind you what good music is all about.

Milestones - Growing Up Is Getting Old
Milestones have produced a much catchier and mature release than last seen on their demo. “Growing Up Is Getting Old” proves that this band definitely has potential, and if they can back up this release with some solid touring, then there is no reason at all that this band can’t achieve something good.

Angelas Dish - Walk Into The Sky
This record is on par with the brilliance of the band's earlier EPs, and features the type of music that will not age quickly and can be enjoyed over and over again. Angelas Dish have returned from their small break refreshed and with one of the best alternative rock albums to come out of Australia in a long time.

Anberlin - Dark Is The Way, Light Is A Place
It seems that the Florida based band has learnt and grown since their last offering with this new album although it still sounds like the Anberlin we all know, they have brought to the table an exciting freshness that makes this album great, with any band there is always room to grow further but being a sucker for this kind of music I could defiantly see myself singing along to these songs at their next concert.

Kids In Glass Houses - Dirt
Kids In Glass Houses are amongst a wave of punk pop emerging in recent times, however i feel their efforts have gotten lost in the crowd, although still a great band and potentially an awesome second album with the genre so full of successful bands already they will have to do something extraordinary and different to be recognised as one of those bands. 'Dirt' was defiantly their opportunity to do so however they stuck to what they know best and released a good, but not great second album.
