Returning Orange County metalcore staples Atreyu have announced a release date for their upcoming sixth studio album.

'Long Live' marks the band's first release in six year's following predecessor, 'Congregation of the Damned' (2009).

"Absolutely no melodic vocals on my end. AMEN! Happy to get back to my roots and still bring in some new tricks. My brothers and I have made our best record yet," vocalist Alex Varkatzas said previously.

'Long Live' (not to be confused with The Chariot's 2010 album of the same name) is due out September 18 (Australian date pending).
